Uses FlexMatch to create a game match for a group of players based on custom matchmaking rules, and starts a new game for the matched players. Each matchmaking request specifies the type of match to build team configuration, rules for an acceptable match, etc. The request also specifies the players to find a match for and where to host the new game session for optimal performance. A matchmaking request might start with a single player or a group of players who want to play together. FlexMatch finds additional players as needed to fill the match. Match type, rules, and the queue used to place a new game session are defined in a MatchmakingConfiguration. To start matchmaking, provide a unique ticket ID, specify a matchmaking configuration, and include the players to be matched.

Use matchmaking — the free networking and meeting platform — before and during the fair. This tool was really useful for us because it was our first time at PSI and it gave us the chance to send requests to the most important companies. We arranged meetings and all the people who accepted our meetings came to the stand, so this was a real success.

Nakama’s matchmaker allows users to find opponents and teammates for matches, groups, and other activities. The matchmaker maintains a pool of users that are currently looking for opponents and places them together whenever a good match is possible. In the server we’ve decoupled how users are matched from the realtime multiplayer engine. This makes it easy to use the matchmaker system to find users even if the gameplay isn’t realtime.

Before you submit a bid, please read the entire document. I have an existing Discord bot that integrates with the Fortnite game client which allows users to queue for matchmaking in Discord channels according to their geographic region. When the queue pops, the bot automatically selects the 15 highest “MMR” matchmaking rating players and invites them to a party within the Fortnite game client and sends them “DMs” direct messages” on Discord to alert them of the invite.
The queue ends, the queue message in Discord is removed, and a new queue message is posted to which users may queue up again. After some time, the bot sends additional DMs to each member to request them to rate other players in their game based on their performance and behavior.
